Nov. 18 update

The 2006 Training Weekend will take place January 20 -23. For only $45 a night per person you get:

• 4 nights with Rock for Life at the Holiday Inn on the Hill in Washington, D.C.
• Educational seminars
• Activism training
• light breakfast, possibly some lunches
• Participation in the 33rd annual March for Life
• Networking with Rock for Life directors, chapter leaders and members, street team members and pro-life youth from all over the country
• Praise and worship, fellowship, making new friends

Learn to be a bold voice for the babies in the public square. Learn the pro-life essentials, equip yourselves and take this experience back to your home town. Chill with other pro-life individuals and become part of a nationwide network of pro-life youth who have dedicated their lives to restoring personhood to all people – born and preborn.

Nov. 18 update

Thanks to all of you for your interest in our Training Weekend and for those that have registered already. This looks to be another amazing event. We look forward to partnering with you as we are a voice for the babies on the streets of D.C.

Some of you have asked about food. We’re going to bump up the price of Training Weekend a few bucks a night to cover some light breakfast items, like bagels, donuts, coffee, etc., etc. for each morning. We will also be providing you with an extensive list of eateries and grocery stores within walking distance. We will keep you posted, of course.

That brings the cost of registration per person to $45 a night. If you are staying all four nights that comes to $180. Some of you can only stay 3 nights, which is fine. The total for three nights is $135.

This year we will not be providing transportation from the airports to the Holiday Inn. We will be providing you detailed information on how to get from the airports, train stations and bus stations to the Holiday Inn, and of course the other way around. Washington, D.C. has a great public transportation service. Each airport has inexpensive shuttle services as well.

In order to keep the costs down we will put 4 people to a room. Since some of you are not able to share a room with 3 other people we do have a couple alternatives.
