Rock for Life's Training and Activism Weekend recap

Hi, this was my first RFL event, my first March for Life, and my first time in DC. It was an amazing, overwhelming, enlightening, exhausting, and a fabulous weekend. Thank you all so much for the opportunity I had. I will certainly never forget it, and I plan to attend next year, God willing. The seminars I attended were great and I really learned a lot. Thank you to everyone who shared their knowledge and experiences with the rest of us. Thank you Erik, Mickey, and Shannon and all those I didn’t meet that put this all together, continue what you're doing. God is blessing you and us through you. Thank you for being faithful to His calling.
Blessings,
Amanda

prayer at Planned Parenthood, Saturday, January 22

I went to this event and WOW it was awesome. As soon as we got there it was cold! But I was pumped up to protest and be a voice. I have a fire for activism and this is one of my key subjects that really breaks me. I felt a bit out of my comfort zone...no WAY out of my comfort zone but I just took a leap of faith. I cried a few times at Planned Parenthood and on the walk to the Supreme Court. I am 16 and felt like I couldn't make a difference but this experience radically showed me how it isn’t my ability, it’s God’s and His spirit. I REALLY WANT TO GET INVOLVED WITH MORE ROCK FOR LIFE STUFF ASAP! I am ready for anything from selling shirts to hitting the pavement and speaking the truth. It doesn’t matter to me I just want to make a difference!

The weekend was great and it taught me so much about the pro-life ministry. I loved the people and music too!

The RFL weekend was wonderful. I loved the open atmosphere as people came together to learn and encourage each other. There is much to be done and we need to be networking together to be strategic. Thanks to everyone at RFL for being a huge part of that network and leading much of the pro-life youth movement in our country. You are making your lives count.

Finally getting around to this e-mail in regards to the Rock for Life Training and Activism Weekend in Jan. It was Awesome, great job! The speakers were very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and informative. When one goes to a conference you usually expect one or two ho-hum presentations but not so at this conference.

Please pass along to them many thanks and blessings for their incredible generosity with their time and talent. It was truly a humbling experience to see so many young people involved in the Pro Life Movement, keep up the great work!

God bless you and keep you,
Mary Ellen, Anne, and Monica

I was in DC and managed to get one of your signs, which were going like hot cakes, they are so good and I wanted to tell you that I thought it was amazing how many people just from your group were there. I think what you’re doing is great and you should do whatever it takes to keep it going and fight this epidemic.
