Rock for Life's Training & Activism Weekend 2008

Rock for Life is now accepting registration forms for our 2008 Training & Activism Weekend.  This year's event will take place on January 20-22, 2008 and includes:

• Special-event pullover hoodie
• Gaining hands-on, effective pro-life activism
• Hitting the streets of D.C. to spread the pro-life message
• Meeting and networking with young pro-lifers from all over the country
• Music and worship
• Learning from experienced and effective pro-life veterans
• Praying at Planned Parenthood
• Marching with hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers at the 34th annual March for Life

4 PM - Check-in, The Washington Court - Grand Ballroom
7 PM - Kick-off meeting

Sunday, Jan. 20th

8 AM - Time allotted for religious services
10:30 AM - Pro-life visibility
1:30 PM – Fighting Planned Parenthood on your college campus - Patrick Daub, ALL youth outreach assistant
2:15 – Your rights as a pro-life activist – Andrew Flusche, ALL staff attorney
3:00 – Planned Parenthood: Lies, deceit, and sex - Marie Hahnenberg, ALL researcher
4:15 – Sidewalk counseling – Nicole Flusche, Assistant to the ALL VP
5 PM - Sunday Mass
8 PM - Rock for Life concert featuring Alakrity, The Washington Court - Grand Ballroom

Monday, Jan. 21st

7 AM - Daily Mass
9 AM Peaceful Prayer and Pro-life visibility at Planned Parenthood
11 AM - Prayer circle at the US Supreme Court
1:30 – Abortion is a man’s issue – Erik Whittington, ALL youth outreach director
2:15 – Debating on the streets – Phil Eddy, ALL’s RFL coordinator
3:00 – Judie Brown, ALL president and co-founder
4:00 – Framing the issue - Michael Hichborn, ALL media director
7 PM - Pro-life Mass at the Basilica
7 PM - Praise & worship music, The Washington Court - Grand Ballroom
10 PM - Pizza Party and Movie

Tuesday, Jan. 22nd

7 AM - Daily Mass
8:45 AM Youth Rally & Mass at Verizon Center
11:00 AM Meet at the March for Life Rally
4 PM Attendance at Silent No More vigil, U.S. Supreme Court
5 PM - Pro-life visibility at National Organization for Women's pro-abortion rally, U.S. Supreme Court
